Coming without a car
The nearest SNCF station is La Rochelle, from Paris, Nantes and Bordeaux.
During the summer only, you can take the 155 regional bus (in service from April to September), which runs from the station to the Porte d’Ors stop in 1 hour 40 minutes. From here , you can take the free summershuttle bus (in operation in July and August) to Saint-Trojan-Les-Bains, which will take you directly to the “Camping Flower Monplaisir ” stop in 25 minutes.
In the low season, consult the maps of buses 153 and 154, as well as “Transport on demand “.
Access the campsite from the Vélodyssée cycle route, which runs along the southwest Atlantic coast, and at Marennes, your campsite is just 16 km away, 50 min by bike!
Coming by car
You’ ll find a recharging point at 1 allée Monplaisir, 400 m from the campsite. Enjoy a friendly, environmentally-friendly journey by carpooling with other campers! The Mobicoop car-sharing site operates without any service charges.
Getting around Saint-Trojan-les-Bains and the surrounding area without a car
From the campsite, walk to the centre of Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, the little train of St Trojan, the Bris marshes, the first beaches…
From Saint-Trojan-les-Bains, everything is even more accessible by bike! In 10 minutes you can reach the main beach of St Trojan, in 15 minutes the Grand-Village, in 25 minutes the Dolus d’Oléron, in 30 minutes the Château d’Oléron, in 45 minutes the Cotinière…
In high season, free summershuttles serve all the villages and beaches on the island. The nearest stop to the campsite is on the purple route “Camping Flower Monplaisir “.
In the low season, the “Transport on Demand “ service, also free of charge, pick you up directly at the campsite and take you to one of the 23 stops on the island.

Practical info
Set in wooded grounds, our campsite offers a total of 129 pitches. Our campsite is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
Our reception team speaks French and English ans Spanish.
Dogs welcome under certain conditions. Contact the campsite for more information.
New: our 4-star campsite on the Ile d’Oléron has recharging points for electric vehicles.

Opening hours for campsite and services
Our campsite is open from 28 March to 28 September 2025. During this period, take advantage of the services available on site: reception, sanitary facilities, children’s play areas, bike hire, planchas, sheets and towels. Services such as the heated pool area and restaurant are available from mid-May to mid-September 2025.
Reception is open throughout the season at the following times:
Low season: 9h-12h/ 14h-19h
High season: 8.30-20

We’ll send you all the information you need for your late arrival by e-mail or telephone: where to pick up your key or badge, campsite map, service timetables and restaurant menu.
Here are our arrival/departure times for your camping holiday on the Ile d’Oléron :
rental stay: arrival after 4 p.m. and departure before 10 a.m.
Bare pitch stay: after 3 p.m. and departure before 12 a.m.

Security and bonding
At Camping Monplaisir, everyone’s peace of mind is paramount. Our entrance and exit gates are unavailable at night, and are accessible by badge from 7am to 11pm. For holidaymakers arriving after hours, parking spaces are available around the campsite. Pedestrian and bicycle access to the campsite is available 24 hours a day, at the gates.
What’s more, our campsite is guarded at night in summer. Our janitor makes several rounds and ensures that holidaymakers comply with the house rules and maintain complete silence. In the event of an incident or noise disturbance, you can report it to the security guard or contact an emergency number which will be given to you on arrival.
On arrival, we require a deposit for the entry badge, regardless of the length of your stay:
20€ for pitch,
de 300€ for accomodation.

A systematic end-of-stay check is carried out by our team for rental stays. Sign up for the check-out schedule and prepare for the end of your stay with peace of mind. Monplaisir does not carry out entrance inspections, which are carried out by our hygiene teams beforehand.
